Here are a few of Pillar Electric’s significant projects that benefit organizations in our region.  Pillar Electric is proud to be able to collaborate with other trades, builders, and designers and use our talents to help others.

Serenbe Showhouse 2024

Located on a corner lot in the Overlook Hamlet, the 2024 showhouse offers a beautiful modern-Victorian aesthetic with a fresh white exterior.  Inside, the Pillar Electric team worked with 12 designers to install electrical and lighting solutions that are creative, detailed, and purposeful.

Proceeds from the showhouse benefit the Decorative Arts Fellowship in partnership with the Art Farm’s Special Projects Council.

Camp Southern Ground’s New Archery Pavilion

Camp Southern Ground is a multi-missioned non-profit based on 400 acres in Fayette County founded by award-winning musician Zac Brown.  During the summer months, Camp Southern Ground is an inclusive, residential camp serving kids from different backgrounds and abilities.  For the remainder of the year, the camp is dedicated to serving veterans through their Warrior programs.  A key component of their programming is archery, teaching profound and therapeutic lessons for both kids and adults.  Through Pillar Electric’s partnership with South Haven Builders, we are helping to provide a new accessible pavilion for the sport of archery.  Opening Spring 2025

Metallica Scholars Initiative

Pillar Electric partners with West Georgia Technical College to support workforce development for exceptional students.  The Metallica Scholars Grant from the All Within My Hands Foundation provides a talented WGTC student with the opportunity to gain paid, on-the-job training with Pillar Electric.  WGTC hosted a signing day to celebrate these students and foster future collaboration between career and technical education.

Serenbe Showhouse 2021

High above the Grange neighborhood lies perhaps the most dramatic Serenbe Showhouse to date. The custom Rausch Ridge home has three stories – 14.5-foot ceilings giving the illusion from the front drive that the house touches the sky – with huge wall-to-wall windows providing near birds-eye views through the trees high above this ridge.

This year’s Showhouse features 12 of Atlanta’s top interior designers, with lead designer Lorraine Enwright of Intuitive Dwellings working with the builders to select the home’s finishes. The 3,500-square-foot home has 4 bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms, with a bonus room on the terrace level perfect for another bed and bath, a work-from-home oasis, or create a recreation room. Round it all out with a two-car (plus golf cart) garage.

Proceeds from the designer showhouse directly benefit the Art Farm at Serenbe.

Serenbe Showhouse 2018

The modern farmhouse includes four-bedroom and four and 1/2 baths.  This Serenbe showhouse includes multiple porches, an office, and a large bonus rec/media room.  With an open living, kitchen and dining area plus a two-car garage, this home addresses current lifestyle needs.  Pillar Electric was able to work with the builder and designers to achieve the custom lighting details on this electrical project.

Proceeds from the designer showhouse directly benefit the Art Farm at Serenbe.

Operation Finally Home

Operation FINALLY HOME was established in 2005 as a nonpartisan/nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization to provide  custom-built, mortgage-free homes to America’s military heroes and the widows of the fallen.  In 2017, Pillar Electric was able to work with the builder to provide a mortgage- free home to the Davenport Family in Newnan, GA.    Donald Davenport is an American veteran who sacrificed so much to defend our freedoms and values.  Southwire graciously donated the wire for this electrical project.
